Bronchitis and HBOT

In 1984, Efuni applied hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) to 92 patients with dust-induced bronchitis. Results showed improvement in 88.9% of patients, as evidenced by increased tolerance to physical exercise and improved blood gas measurements. Notably, this is the only report from the USSR, with no comparable studies found in Western literature.
